Mindfulnesss for Clinicians Course
Spend eight weeks learning and developing mindfulness and cognitive behavioural strategies
Service Description
It is a clinician-only course where we learn different ways to meditate and cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and other qualities of mind that we can support more fulfilling personal and private lives. This eight-week course is based on the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Course developed by Prof. Mark Williams et al. It combines mindfulness and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Join us to cover several practices including body scans, mindfulness of breathing, thoughts, sound and movement. There will be lots of opportunities to discuss practices with others and myself throughout the course. Sessions last 2 hours 7-9 pm every and will happen every Wednesday There is an invitation to commit to meditation for six out of seven days a week and reflect on these experiences along with everyday life. It can be useful to consider how feasible this will be before you start although there is a real ethos of being self-compassionate and doing what you can rather than a need to add yet another task to the endless to-do list. Hopefully, our FAQ will answer most questions but feel free to contact me at hello@stillpractising.org too. If the support rate is not affordable for you please get in touch with me and we can arrange something. PRICES ARE FOR THE WHOLE COURSE
